TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
